Research journeys were conducted to; Research journeys were conducted to; Bonemap the wild edge choreographic enquiry was conducted in recognition of natural history and the social significance of built environments. Dance and movement research in conjunction with screen based media and photography surfaced above other mediums as a way to engage with environments and spaces through the ability to have significant visual and cultural impact without leaving traces of the interaction on the site. Video, sound, photographic and contextual documentation was funnelled through a collaborative process. Research material was analysed for cross artform appropriation. Working within environmental science parameters has revealed opportunities for future engagement. Bonemap has created an installation for 'Uncharted - the River' a cross industry contemporary art project investigating the environmental and social significance of the Barron River in Tropical North Queensland.
