Contemporary art engagement for Bonemap employs gallery and museum presentations. Most recently the use of video and projection devices that allow the presentation of screen based material. The group still maintains a strong relationship with the object, whether found or created and most often incorporated into installation environments but not exclusive of stand alone pieces or group exhibitions. For the exhibition project Uncharted - The River, Bonemap created a video installation utilizing parts of corrugated iron water tanks, commenting on the way water is stored in rural communities. The video compositing uses footage of micro and macro environments of a single tributary node of the Barron River in Australia's tropical north.

Bonemap also has a strong commitment to Contemporary design in the fields of print and multimedia.
