Performance - Kinetic Design. Visual Design. Photography. Sound Design. Methodology.
Bonemap 'the wild edge' is a site-specific artwork emphasising the ephemeral body via the social and natural landscape. Audiences will engage with the artist's interpretation of contrasts, between the tropical Australian environment and the urban and built spaces that we inhabit. Devised as discrete modules of performance, dance video, photographic and object-based exhibition, audio CD and temporary sculptural treatments of environmental locations. The artists unleash their obsession with multidisciplinary artistic relationships in a layered and meaningful rapport with the world around them.

Kinetic Design

Bonemap 'the wild edge' explores movement through the relationship of the moment, the body and notations of identity and place. Merging this with the methodologies of visual, sound and movement arts into a fusion and fluctuation of processes, rich expression and audience experience. The representative and exhibitive moments access the sculptural, the expressive, the transformative. A dialogue fused through kinetic, micro and macro environments. A flux of sensitivity to identify the body's' countertensions using its internal and external architecture and memory.
Visual Design
video/digital projections, aid the contextual layering of the work. An extension of the staging is a massive curtain made of medical diagnostic imagery, complementing a field of glowing romantic tutu's, large scale installations and intimate details. These mediums carry the resulting imagery of environmental fieldtrips onto the artwork and performance referencing real and displaced environments.

Photography

The photographic exhibition is an integeral aspect of the work, and photography is incorporated into the many products available. Framed original prints depicting the landscape of the body in environmental locations form a descrete exhibition module of Bonemap. Larger scale photographic works are installation elements of the artwork and are stageing elements of the performances.
Sound Design
An electroacoustic SoundMap incorporating live improvisation, live incorporation of pre "processed" sound medias, and radio broadcast. Manipulated and densely processed audio and other electro noise pop-squeaks confront the textures of acoustic instruments extended, and found objects performed. A continuous site specific multimedia soundscape informed by the kinetic body and chance.

Methodology
-
A process fused through investigating micro and macro environments. A flux of sensitivity identifying the body's counter-tensions, its internal and external architecture and memory. Involving the methodologies of visual and sound arts, medical diagnostic and digital imaging, fieldwork and fluctuation of movement processes. Amplifying instruments, objects and endemic recordings to archive soundscapes. Images and objects derived collaboratively will in turn promote new processes with more complex layering in other mediums. Artistic engagement through sensitivity to the different audience and visual requirements of photography, film and computer generated presentations to inform exhibition and performance contexts. The design modules and choreography considers kinetic elements, the body and perceptions of geographic locations. The photographic and video resource capture moments of the body working with choreographic fusion.
